Mossberg 5500 MK 2

So i acquired a Mossberg 5500 MK 2 tonight. the gun is beautiful, not much signs of wear or use at all synthetic/blued. it cycles just fine but ill see how she shoots in the daylight tomorrow. i know nothing about this gun and since its been discontinued i cant find much info on it as far as how much its worth and what kind of market there is for it. ill be looking to sell it, which WILL be done in the correct section of the forum. in the mean time, i was hoping someone could school me on this firearm. how much should i be looking to get for it? as a lower end semi auto 12ga, how reliable is it?
