Good to have the skills, nice work. Thinking about snipering an Izhevsk 91/30 into a sniper type. I've read that they make PE mounts for 1" modern scopes.
Oh well, I just put a roll pin on the front post to raise the POI and have to test that. Guess its better to see if it shoots well first. Anway thanks for documenting work and write up.
