Mosin Nagant question

Looking for input from those with some experience (as I don't have much).

Do you find the stock on the M39 (with the slight pistol grip) more comfortable to shoot than other Mosin Nagant rifles (with straight stocks)?

I ask as my experience with 1903 and 03A3 Springfield has me liking the C stock much better than the scant or straight stock.

I have a collection of Finn Mosins and the M39 are the most comfortable to shoot in my opinion, and they seem to have better balance.
