So. According to data released by the National Shooting Sports Foundation; there are currently over 24 million Modern Sporting Rifles in circulation; apparently more than Ford F Series on the roads in the United States...
16.1 million Ford F series trucks on the roads according to... https://fordauthority.com/2021/04/t...1-million-ford-f-series-pickups-on-u-s-roads/

Again, its interesting. This doesnt count the homebuilt MSR/ARs, nor those in existence before 1990, nor those that were exported then imported later
. By that metric; 24 million since 1990... firmly puts ARs/MSRs as ubiquitous as Ford F series trucks, if not moreso... and definitely in common use.

Vehicle crashes killed almost 45,000 in 2021. Each and every day in the US, 103 men women and children have their lives suddenly snuffed out. Each day 7500 are injured. 22,000 commit suicide using a firearm. It seems that licensing, registration and taxation have not slowed vehicular death or injuries. Do you see any agitation for traffic safety? For suicide prevention?

Me neither.
