More area lost.

Wasnt really sure about posting this. Target shooting is invovled but not the root of the closure. Most of you know we do a lot of random cleaning up in the woods. We were notified of this mess on a landing where I hunt by officials. We decided to make an effort at it. 2 Fridays later we are finished. First load was 1100 pounds and not sure of the second load yet but it will be close. Havent been to the dump yet. This is actively being investigated and not going to say more. The frustrating part for me is this is a mixture of public and private and because of these lazy idiots there is going to be a nice big gate blocking access to both. This is the same area we took another big dump out of late spring just on a different spur. That one had needles and all the fun.
Back to today. Between last Friday and this, our wonderful target shooters moved trash from the pile we couldnt get to in front of a stump and blasted away with their shotguns leaving their hulls also. Anyway, everything is picked up, the gate is going in Monday and we will now be walking in if we want to hunt it. I am sure people will complain about the gate but for some reason the synapic(sp) gaps in their brains arent powerful enough to see the correlation. Just going to leave it at that. We are going to go buy a new Marlin classic in 357 tomorrow for some retail therapy.

Never met a boomer that didn't spank, spoon, belt, etc... their kids.

X'ers is 50/50.

Early millennials with kids are the ones who started screwing everything up by being BFF's with their kids instead of being parents.

This isn't to say that you can only get good people if they're physically punished in their youth, but having no punishment or repercussions for bad behavior is gonna make for garbage people.

Thank you. You go above and beyond and we all benefit from your hard work.

I live a very short walk from one Washington's large DNR tracts. Lots of hunters in the fall. Many idiots target shooting the rest of the year. Despite signs saying no shooting within a mile of the gate very few folks walk beyond a few feet of it to shoot. They seem oblivious that there are folks living near by. Between the garbage, glass and clays, and morons not knowing what's down range, my wife will no longer walk with me and the dog there. So I hope a gate helps but I'm not holding my breath.

Wow! Thanks for your time and effort in this project! Growing up backpacking and hiking quite often, I am a strict follow of Leave No Trace, so seeing land be used like that really hurts. Awesome job.
