Necro time .... "Arise, thread!"

OK, so I recently acquired, and have been shooting, a modern(ish) Stoeger Luger. I couldn't help but notice this:

accesorio de culata de pistola.jpg

Presumably this is a stock attachment point. Queries:

  • Is that correct?
  • Will any Luger stock work?
  • Did anyone ever make a repo? (I'm finding original Luger anything is redonkulously expensive).
Other than significantly declined interest in pew projects, the biggest argument against Form 1ing this is the engraving requirement. I'm not sure where it would go and, frankly, it would likely look butt ugly.

Thanks!

Resurrecting one from grave and a tangent of this thread. (And Holy Space Pineapples I was far wackier back in 2022; particularly in the short lived strange days / Luger phase. Glad that time past. Or not. Or something — honk.)

Ressurrection (coming in stereo), tangents, and disturbing recollections aside, seriously revisiting this idea. Thinking this might be quite corking:

  • All metal, SA/DA, automatic with a nice trigger.
  • Standard magazines at least 15 shots. Extended at least 20.
  • Form 1 flatulence.
  • Some kind of stock acquired. Wood preferred, but could go metal of some kind.
  • Slot machined into grip.
  • Combined for completion.
Inquiries:

  • Idea in general?
  • Base pistol? (Leaning heavily Beretta 92.)
  • Extra parts?
  • Anything else?
Thanks for sharing!

Alrighty then. Just ordered a NIB Beretta 92FS and a gaggle of magazines. Bueno. :s0155:

Sounds like you need a BHP Inglis, although I think the original mags are like 13rnds. IIRC Mecgar makes good aftermarket mags that I believe go up to 17rnds...

The pros of a BHP of the correct year are that you would not need to acquire a stamp to affix a stock. Sorry I was late to the party!
