It was a good season! I was hunting some beautiful country in the Minam Unit, I saw the bull first, and the wind was crossing, I moved into a good position and one shot dropped him at 190 yards (Kimber Montana, .300 WSM, 180gr Federal Trophy Bonded Tip, Leupold VX2, ). Ive never shot a bull in this kind of open space before, what a luxury! My son and son-in-law helped me cut and wrap the meat while we listened to the Duck game. We all know most seasons don't end this way, but this one was sure great. I am thankful to friends, family and the Lord for another great year of hunting.
