I just bought a Boker Strike Plus Auto Knife Stone Washed Drop Point (conversion) with a 3.25" AUS-8 steel blade. Blade Ops has them for $39.95 shipped to your door. The knife comes from Taiwan and seems one of their better conversions.
I heard about some of these conversions not faring well afterward, but mine seems to have been none the worse for wear. It opens and closes well (button open-close). This knife comes with a tip-down pocket clip, but it can be reversed with a small Allen (hex-head) wrench in just a few minutes to "tip-up" orientation. (I'll do this to mine).
This is the "highlight" of my month, and my birthday gift to myself (albeit 23 days late).
