Memorial Day

I had a great visit while in my chiropractor's waiting room talking to a Vietnam Vet. Not much on what he did or saw, but the aftermath. Losing friends, coming home and dealing with what he did and saw.
It was pretty moving to hear his voice so full of emotion even almost 50 years later.
I came away in awe, and a deeper sense of what these men and women deal with when the war ends, and the wounds of the soul remain.
