As a registered democrat who voted for Donald Trump for president and will do so again, I must observe that while there are many more democrats in this country than republicans, it should not be possible for any republican to ever get elected to much of anything. These radical democrats are just driving a wedge between the democratic party and many registered democrats such as myself.
The Washington Post and other far left leaning rags hire some of the least talented people they can find to try to trash the republican party. The only people who fall for that are the other far left leaning people who really have no idea what makes a country work successfully.
When they get the socialist agenda they think they want they will not be able to understand how or why the black market thrives so well just as it does in places like Russia where well connected people can get anything they want that the government does not think they should have, or that the government cannot tax. Illegal drugs are a prime example of that happening even now here in the US. Some people don't care that hard drugs will ruin their lives and they want them, so there are people who can and will provide them. It is not possible to legislate morality.

SIDE NOTE: I've noticed more and more that videos on youtube won't play for me (I don't have an account, I do use script blocking). For example, this is what I see with that particular video (but not with all YT vids linked here, so I suspect it is a YT issue):



Here's a workaround. Click reply to the post and you will see MEDIA tags. Between the tags is the video link code. Copy that, open a different video, and replace the part after the "=" sign in the URL with what you just copied. So in this case, you would change: /watch?v=RandomLetters to /watch?v=LcT_UmNkdpM and the video will play.

Another issue you may run in to is that the video won't play if you don't sign in with an account. I don't have a YT account and this used to bother me. The workaround for this is extremely simple, just append "_popup" to the word "watch" right before the "?". So if this was one of those videos that won't play unless signed in (it isn't, but just for illustration), you can change the default to watch_popup?v=LcT_UmNkdpM and it will play.
