For sale is my Springfield Armory U.S. Rifle, M1, Caliber 30. The serial number dates this rifle to January of 1942, making this one of the earliest wartime production M1 Garands. The Barrel is an LMR production Military Replacement Barrel dated August of 1953. The Trigger Housing is also a 1953 replacement. This particular CMP Service Grade has a newer CMP stamped stock. 2+ muzzle reading and a 3 throat. Bore is bright and shiny with sharp rifling. This rifle hasn't been shot much after being re-barreled in 1953. LMR Barrels are know to be the highest quality and most accurate of the Military Surplus M1 barrels. The stock also fits incredibly tightly and precisely, leading to further accuracy. Includes all CMP Paperwork and certification as well as one En Bloc clip.
