GI M1 Carbine .30 cal. Importer/Manufacturer Blue Sky. No wood stock. Comes with two 15rd and three 30 rd mags.850.00. I tried looking all over for the Blue Sky markings but can't seem to find them. According to my records, it's Blue Sky. There is another marking under the rear sight above the serial number that cannot be seen without removal. This could be where the manufacturer's marking is. I remembered it was imported from South Korea by Blue Sky. I included a bunch of pics so it can answer some of your questions. That's all I know of this gun.

  1. I agree to the classified rules and terms of service
How about on top of the barrel just behind the front sight?
should be an "ordinance bomb" with a date and maybe some letters.

thank you for pointing this out to me. Yes, an ordinance bomb. Lettering is hard to read: JNDEEW00?

I think it's an Underwood barrel. Underwood was a typewriter company with a contract to build M1 carbines during WW2. They accounted for almost 9% of M1 carbines produced.

Thanks for info on m1 carbine and possible id. That makes sense with the spelling. Now I can more accurately describe my m1 carbine.
