Would like to buy Lyman "48th Edition Reloading Handbook" Book. Thanks
You may want the latest if you are looking for new cartridge loads, but #46 tells you the best loads they worked up. Nearly every time I have worked up accuracy loads from scratch I have found their accuracy loads to be within a couple 10ths of a grain. The newer manuals don't have accuracy loads.
Why? Only they know for sure. Just a thought when making the purchase.
Btw, I have reloaded a good half million rounds, mostly for competition, since 1976.
#46 has recommended load data which seems to be very good from my experience. #47 doesn't have it and i have heard that #48 is even worse. Probably save a $ or 2 with the older book. I would part with mine if didn't use so much.
