Another Officer shot in ambush attack, luckily was other shot in the hand. But this seems to happen almost daily now.

It is just me or is there a correlation to the terrorist/isis/muslim extremist attacks and mindset?

Muslim extremist came into 9/11 with the idea that if they got the US to invade the middle east and effectively start a war with muslims then it would create a chain reaction to help promote more muslims to pick up arms and join the fight against westerners and infidels.
And now we have isis, isil, and so on, trying to sweep through and take over the middle east and encourage lone wolf followers to join the fight in our own streets.

Seems like US extremist we'll call them are doing the same. Ambushing cops, shooting places up and possibly in hopes of inciting more cops to start cracking heads of minorites and become more like the colors units of the 90s to help recruiting minories and anarchists to fight back against the police and local govt in general?

Seems like they have the same objectives and game plan. I wonder who all is inciting and behind the scenes of the protests, riots, and "fry pigs like bacon" signs?

I think these shootings and ambushing will become common place. And it's only a matter of time before all of free society is the target.

The article doesn't make any reference to race/ethnicity/religion for the officers or the gunman. We have no idea if it is related to anything you mentioned in your post. I have a few concerns with your post...not the news article but the labels and specific groups you're directing this towards.
I'm taking the article strictly at face value...a crazy person shooting at some police officers. The officers in this situation acted very calm and didn't fire off a bunch of bullets in his direction. They chased him, cuffed him and took him in. End of story!

I'm not targeting one group and as we've seen in protests and riots you can't target race, by it appears to be the vehicle behind this movement.
I certainly didnmt mean disrespect.

What it does reference is what I talked about targeting police.
We don't have the info you mentioned, but we do have a targeted attack on law enforcement by some crazy person.

My opinion was in reference to the overwhelming evidence that there is a movement in this country to target law enforcement and disregard the laws of a free nation in what I can only suspect an end goal being anarchy.
Or inciting anarchy to have a reason to control the populace.

Cop pulled over a few Mexicans out front of our home yesterday. It's a nice area in the country.
The one Mexican was yelling at the cop.
I found myself walking toward the scene to play backup.
I held back after another officer showed up.
Conclusion. I was ready to mix it up, with of course a ? Mark in the head.
I'm AM ready to back the cops up.
These guys are our friends and neighbors.

Israelis have put armed security in their schools, but the reality is there are about 170,000 guns licensed for private use in Israel out of a (Jewish) population of 6.2 million. (~1 gun for every 36 Jews)

They have a much more restrictive policy and tend to allow permits only for those who live in more dangerous areas.

I've had the same ideals and thought process since there was a Officer shot several times down the road from my house. Just because the guy behind the wheel was a ex-convict white supremist.

I've always wondered what would happen if I happened upon a scene where a group of individuals were targeting an officer. Assuming you are alone in your vehicle..

Do you use your vehicle to incapacitate individuals if they are clear of objects? Officer is wrestling subject and/or subject is in a front mount with the ground and pound....

Damn straight. I would hope somebody would do that if any of my officer friends were in that position. Assist a person because if you don't their life may be lost.

And thanks to draconian gun-control laws severely infringing on the French people's right to keep and bear arms, actual and potential victims of the ongoing slaughter have been left largely defenseless, to cower in the face of Islamists armed with Kalashnikovs and other weaponry. Despite all of that, rather than discussing more respect for gun-rights and liberty, experts say it is unlikely that the people of France under Socialist Party rule will be able to even have a real debate any time soon — much less lawfully protect themselves from terrorists and criminals.

The French government and the European Union both impose extraordinarily strict restrictions on firearm possession by civilians. In France, where owning a gun for self-defense is essentially out of the question for average citizens, even many police officers are unarmed. Still, media reports and experts suggest that France is awash in firearms that are freely available on the black market for a small premium over what Americans might pay at a store. The difference is that in the United States, law-abiding citizens are free to own and use those weapons in lawful self-defense, while in France and virtually all of the EU, murderers and criminals know their victims will be disarmed and helpless, courtesy of the political class.

And yet another that dispels any benefit of Europe's azzenine restrictive gun laws. It only gets worse in those countries that are even more restrictive in their gun ownership. In many of them the citizens biggest enemy is their own governments.
The 2nd Amendment in in our Constitution for a very good reason. Te make sure we never end up like those other places and it must be defended to the death if necessary. That is far better than to end up in death unarmed and unable to defend ourselves as slaves and subjects. The founders of our Nation foresaw that long, long ago.
