No.
More commonly you would see it at a traffic stop gone bad or as the thread started out: an ambush with intent to kill.

Bundy deal was a joke on both sides. They both escalated it. This isn't about the outlying confrontations from the norm.

C'mon Dude, that's apples and oranges. Nobody WANTED to (outright) shoot cops, nor were they (outright) SEEKING cops to target and ambush, or else there'd been a huge body count on (both sides).

Admittedly, that whole episode is/was one big convoluted mess on all grounds/sides.

Pointin' and shootin' are still widely different actions, and it goes to show that "might makes right" doesn't ways pan out for "the mighty". It'll be a sad day indeed if ever we have a U.S. Civil War-II, and I hope to never see that in my lifetime... as melodramatic as that sounds.
