Hey, just throwing this out there. I saw a message from 2009 but can't find one recently. Any good outdoor shooting spots that anybody know about in the Dallas, Falls city, Monmouth, Polk county area?

You might want to contact Weyerhauser for their properties in the Kings Valley area, ask which gated ones are OK to go shoot at, if at all. Otherwise, I think Gooseneck Road BLM area is the popular spot for west of Dallas.

Thanks! Did not know about that site. Ya nothing near by.. drove out to snow peak for now.

Gooseneck road is the primary go to in Dallas area. It has some good spots

With that said, people leave a lot of crap up there. Its disappointing. Some of the longer range areas have terrible, or no, backs stops yet people foolishly shoot anyway.

You might get lucky finding a spot in the checkerboard pockets of public land otherwise your best bet is to drive out hwy 18 to the Siuslaw National forest where your likely to find a spot if you spend a day driving around for one.
