I've done quite a few and they turn out looking like new every time ! I spend a Saturday every few weeks doing a batch of rifles.

I've done quite a few and they turn out looking like new every time ! I spend a Saturday every few weeks doing a batch of rifles.

Unlike other finishes, it produces lots of waste material and contaminated water. This is why it's seldom used in the gun trades these days. Most places use black oxide. Very few new manufactured guns are park'd these days. The problem is that there's no legal way to dispose of the waste in the County we're in without excessively expensive permits. Hence why I'm looking for an outside vendor.
