Looking for Firearm blueprints/ schematics?

As The title says I am finding it really hard to come across any blue prints/ schematics for firearms. Does anyone know where you can get them? I don't mind paying them or anything. Looking to build from scratch, but i need measurements and everything first. I appreciate any help

Have you tried the US Patent Office? There are books from "Numrich" and "Jack Frist" but no measurements. You know if you had on you could measure it. Draw it up your self.

Type of gun would help greatly. Beyond that Google is your friend and you should be able to find prints for alot of the more popular guns.
