I bought one of these for my girlfriends 6 year old and for my 3 year old when the time comes. Looked at it side by side with a cricket and decided on the Henry. Hunter orange with fiber optic sights and still a single shot.
Not sure if your considering new but if so I would highly recommend one.

I purchased a T/C Hotshot for my son about 2 years ago. It is so accurate, it is my go to for dispatching pests on my property. It also comes with a 1-2" spacer to extend the length of pull as your child grows. I could not be happier with it and it is the best $225 I have possibly ever spent.

I do not trust the quality of Crickett. That's just my opinion. Good luck.

I have one of those I got the camo package with scope when they were on sale at Sportsmans. Total blast to shoot and usually ends up being played with the most when out plinking Thanks for the response
