I love mine! Very versatile and my ears love it too. Be prepared to accessorize though! If you're anything like me you'll want lots of pistons to attach it to different guns. I especially like the Ghost on my PCCs!!!! I'm impressed enough with the Ghost that I'd buy another if the need arose.

I was thinking also about a B&T SOCOM, but they (B&T) only make them when they have enough demand. I am not sure why they take that business stance, because they sell out quickly. I'll wait for a group buy or something, but in the interim, I'll purchase a Dead Air.

I have shot the Dead Air Ghost 45, Rugged Obsidian 45 and CGS Nautilus 45. I ended up buying the Obsidian 45 and Nautilus 45. My favorite is the Obsidian 45 and will likely end up buying one more because I hate changing pistons.

Nothing wrong with the Ghost 45 I just thought the others either sounded better in the case of the Obsidian 45 or met my specific need at a better price point in the case of the Nautilus.

That's a great point, I didn't even consider that. I have a bunch of Gemtech cans, but none of them have pistons.

AFAIK all the baffles are steel, tube is aluminum and the mount is titanium.
I've got the Obsidian in 45 and am a big fan- it's also very effective with 9mm and you can use SiCo pistons with it. It's also about $250 cheaper than the Ghost.....
