My first centerfire rifle I purchased for myself was an H&R Officer's Carbine. Probably shouldn't have let that one go.

There's a much greater sense of 'community" here than I've experienced at other forums that are less "local" (oops...I hear my neighbor's free range chickens protesting my micro-aggression).

Perhaps... (am I really about to say this) ...... it's local and, therefore, so much more 'fresh'.
