For those that don't want to pay ridiculous prices to get local channels Locast just expanded to Portland and 27 surrounding counties. Free, but if
you don't pony up a $5 a month "donation" you'll get annoying DONATE ads every 15 minutes. They can get away with it due to being a non-profit org.
I'm running it on a ROKU Ultra and its working fine so far. There's an Amazon app but some users at Cordcutters say it freezes whenever the donate ad
pops up, YMMV. I paid the $5 because Salem's west hills really screw with OTA/antenna reception. I haven't tried it with Chromecast or anything else
as of yet. They say if you donate it may take 24 hrs for the ads to disappear.
