For food grade buckets (and you want them food grade -- too many nasties in the other type), check out your local Safeway/Albertsons bakery department. Ask them of they have any food grade buckets and lids. We have been given a LOT of buckets from our local Albertsons. Some 1 gallon some 3 gallons and a few larger. Good news is the cost. Free. (love free). Most that we have been given also have a rubber seal around the rim of the bucket.

Check it out. Heck all they can do is say no.

Mylarbagsdirect.com is who I use they are cheap and quick shipping. As for buckets as stated above go to Safeway and ask ,y local one will give them to me if they have them. I also found a local guy selling them for 2 dollars for a bucket and a lid. They were used for some kind of fruit juice and when I needed about 10 it was a good deal. Check craigslist they do come up every once in a while.
