Approximately 140 pounds of lead. Some consists of fishing weights but majority is unknown origin or content. Some of the fishing weights are shiny as new in 2 oz size. Have one offer for $.50 per pound. Seems low and he'd melt and recast in to drift boat anchors. Trade for factory ammo in .357 or .38 Special of .45 ACP . Most likely don't want to ship. Possible to meet in Eugene or nearby communities if you buy lunch and it fits my schedule. Not fast food. Driving distance within reason.

Make an offer of cash or factory ammunition? Would consider commercial cast bullets in .357/.38 or .45 ACP in trade.

Can take pictures and attach but most guys here would know what lead looks like, I think.

The junk yard or smelter won't give you .50 cents a pound for scrap lead! Processing it to clean ingots for shooting purposes, of a known hardness in usable size for a casting pot takes time and plenty of heat energy.
