WA was trying to do this a few years back.

It was formerly only banned in areas designated as the condor's home range. Now it's banned state-wide for all hunting purposes.

Ban condors, snail darters, spotted owls, double-breasted titmouse, and all those dam windmills that kill a gob of raptors each month.

I thought California was trying to suceed from the union a few years back, maybe we can help vote them out or at least extend the wall to include them.
