Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Nope. Other than Evergreen Sportsman club off Bordeaux road, and that's not any closer. Still, if you're in Lacey, Cap forest is closer DNR land than most people on this side of the state have.
I used to live in Lacey. A couple of my friends and I found a spot outside of Rainer. Two great backdrops, one for pistol, CQM type shooting and another backstop 200+ depending where you line up at. Usually pretty quiet. Anyone we ever ran into out there were pretty friendly.
I shoot at the pit in Rainer about once a week. Still pretty quiet, but trash is starting to pile up. I take 2-3 large bags of extra crap out every time I'm up there, but it hardly makes a dent.
Check <broken link removed> for other places to shoot in the Lacey area. The Rainier pit is called "Tenino Honey Hole" in that map.
