Kamala Harris livestreamed a campaign "informercial" with Oprah Winfrey Sept. 19th. At one point, they set up a anti-gun sequence described here by the New York Times:
"...began with the kind of emotional set piece that has become a grim go-to for Democrats campaigning on gun safety.
There was a video about the terror of a school shooting. A teenage gunshot victim in the audience with bandages on her wrist and arm. Her tearful mother speaking directly to Harris and imploring those in power to make a change."
Oprah then changed the subject to Harris' own gun ownership, a point she made at the debate with Trump, and which seems to be calculated effort to defuse the Gun Control issue with uncommitted voters. Harris responded with "If someone breaks into my house, they're getting shot." Followed by her usual giggling.
Oprah tried to do damage control by saying "I hear that, I hear that." Harris then blurted out that she "probably shouldn't have said that." "My aides will deal with that later." Then she got back on track and went to her rehearsed campaign line "I'm not trying to take everyone's guns away."
Given Harris' history on gun control and wielding the power of the State, her current gun control stand appears to be just a (ploy, lie, trick, -pick your term) to mislead uncommitted voters.
When you watch Harris, pay attention to the words she uses in her confused "word salad" answers. In my opinion, these words bubble up from her memory, and the ones she is most familiar with come to the front of the line. Things like "children of the community" which appears from her context to mean that children are not raised by their parents, but by the government. "What can be unburdened by what has been" when Harris claims to be the agent of change is very telling. It implies that the past has to be discarded in order to accept her vision of the future. This is a remarkable resemblance to the thinking of Pol Pot, whose unburdening the population of Cambodia resulted in the death of over 1.7 million people who were considered "Old People" who were unable to accept his new, socialist, vision.
I call her "The Giggler," a sort of Batman villainess, whose tittering hides a deeper evil.
Don't be fooled. She will come for the guns of anyone who doesn't support her vision for a new America.
