The Trijicon RMR's can be found on forum classifieds (and sales) for roughly $300-$420 new.
Always ask for the serial number to confirm with manufacturer, unless buying new from a reputable dealer.
Holosun is another option

I have the Holosun 510C-GR (my first to try compared to the Eotech. Very impressed) and 507C-GR (first RMR type)
My models have the green reticles. Very impressive, the Holosun brand.
Everyone who has tried them, has liked them. Even after trying the Eotech EXPS I have on another rifle.
I also have the Eotech G33 magnifier, that I've put behind the Holosun optics. They work exceptionally well in that config too.

I'm sure people try to sell fakes for more hoping for an unsuspecting buyer.
