I just ordered a case of Blazer Brass 10mm for $359.00 shipped. $0.36 is more than 9mm but but cheap enough that I don't worry about the cost. Look, any range trip is costing me at least $300 in gas and ammo anymore. You can't go shooting and worry about the cost of every shot or you will drive yourself crazy. it's not 2019 any more.
Nice!

I'm speaking / thinking comparatively. 9mm costs being roughly half that of 10mm & that being close to range fodder .223/5.56.

Then the weight of 10mm in stick magazines.

Folks are critical of the 10mm because of cost. But they don't criticize 5.56.

Ball ammo for either is very close to the same price.
I criticized it for it's cost in a mag dump machine, which is exactly the kind of shooting the OP does. I will criticize 5.56 for the same purposes, but this thread wasn't about 5.56. My statement stands

Every gun deserves one mag dump per range trip. It's the law. Look it up.

BiMart has Winchester 180g 10mm @ $19/box of 50 on special. Spec says 1050fps, slower than Blazer Brass @ their spec of 1200fps.

.38/rd, vs shipped in .36/rd.

If it were me, and I was all into suppressors like I know you are ;-) I would just stick with 9mm. For me, i love 9mm PCCs becuase they are light, suppress well, are inexpensive to shoot, and no recoil to speak of. If I need more power, then just step up to rifle round etc. I would rather have like a 300blackout over 10mm. Also, 9 gives more capacity as you mention!

Just forget about the Stribog and buy that PTR Vent already! ;-)

Have the .300 BO 8.5" subgun, 5.56 SBR, 9mm PCCs/pdws, .357 sig/.40 PDW, .22 subguns, .308 subguns. Maybe that why I'm curious about it. It's a caliber I don't have a subgun in. A lot of times I buy guns out of curiosity. I wonder, "what it would it be like to shoot that"?

Then I find the answer after shooting it. Sometimes the answer is "no more fun than a 22, or 9mm, or whatever existing gun I'm comparing it to". And sometimes the answer is "holy hell, how did I ever live without that!" Hk51 clone is the best example I have of the latter. So in this thread I'm probably trying to see if it's that different than 9mm Stribog or possibly 9mm mp5 to justify the expense to satisfy my curiosity.

$0.36 is what I paid also. I think from palmetto. Sure a nice caliber to shoot with handgun. I bet a 10mm PCC with delayed blowback would be fun. Let us know how you like the kriss 10mm.

A 10MM PCC no, a short barreled AR-15 in 400 Legend on my SBR lower yes.

...when people take the time to read a thread's title, then ignore that title and post whatever humble brag they need to get off their chest.

I'd go for 400 too but that isn't in the same category, more expensive, more recoil, and more mag compatability problems.
Not to mention, it isn't the subject of the thread. The thread is about 10mm PCCs and whether or not they're "worth it"

It is the subject of the thread, same as others have said no not worth it to me, I would choose a different setup.

YEP, then save that brass and roll it again. Its an easy round to roll and as has been brought up a few times supplies for those who with to roll are again FAR easier to find.

I keep threatening to get one myself.Probably doesn't make much sense but that hasn't stopped for 60 years so why worry about it now? If you don't handload it would be kinda expensive as several have pointed out. But if you do, you could load a bit slower powder maybe and get some pretty serious velocity out of a 180 grainer, making a pretty viable defense weapon. I think out of a 16 inch barrel 1600 fps would be doable. No 460 Weatherby for sure but I think it would start to sting after a while......

Im planning on eventually a Ruger LC carbine in 10mm to share my pistol mags.
I got one of those, great little rifles. Not quite a bullpup but close. That bolt over barrel design really shortened it up nicely. I got it so the suppressor wouldn't stick out a full mile like I'm in brave hart waiting for the horses to charge

For ME having a PCC was partly 'due in part' of the particular 'style' of the rifle and the caliber.

When I realized Ruger had re-introduced the PCC I became REALLY interested. When I saw and handled the first one I saw - I was 'sold' on it, and bought it however a LOT of it had to do with the caliber.

I already had a 9mm pistol and loaded for it so I didn't have to deal with acquiring different components and loading items.

IF the Ruger PCC HADN'T been available in a 9mm (and I can't imagine it wouldn't have been) I would most likely NOT own one.

I think a 10mm PCC makes a ton more sense than a 9mm. 10 mil is easy to shoot in that platform and works great for not only SD but also to harvest game if SHTF.

Haha I have a couple videos of me shooting an MP5 in full auto. Pretty fun, that's for sure. I take back my previous comments……..LOL NR but point taken. :D
