Still kinda half-a$$ thinking about a Stribog 10mm. Roller delayed is nice. 20 round hk pattern mags is kind of limiting in capacity. Opinions on whether a 10mm PCC is worth $1000?

I reckon the question would be is worth it to the individual.

Me, personally? No. But we already have a number of PCCs and machine-guns in the class in .32 ACP, 9㎜ Parabellum, .30 Carbine, .357 Magnum, and .44 Magnum. Adding a 10㎜ to the mix just wouldn't do enough different to justify the cost and space.

For someone with a different mix? I would think so: Solid platform. Portent cartridge. Twenty plus one on tap isn't bad. And if it is fun, no need to over think it. 🙂

PCC's in general, yes you betcha!:D

If the platform suits you, I suppose it's as good as any. But, add to that a 10mm chambering, and that makes such a firearm very formidable.

Being a HUGE fanboy of the PCC, have been all my life, I LOVE them. Also a HUGE fan of the 10mm. When it was clear that this state was going to follow the mag bans I started buying only things that took the same mags. As for this particular gun? For anyone who likes it, it is their money. If you like it? Who cares what others think, buy it.

A 10mm PCC that shares mags with your pistol, sure. Just to get another carbine, less so, it isn't cheap to shoot, it doesn't have reduced recoil, it's not particularly powerful, you don't save weight and the mags aren't particularly plentiful.

The mags are a pain with the Stribog 10mm. 20 round only cuz they are copies of hk 10mm straight mags (it also accepts hk mags and k think one of those is 30 rounds but im not sure and hk brand would be too expensive anyway). I have 2.5 billion 9mm Stribog mags or something like that. They were $8.99 and I've never had an issue with them. But not excited about accumulating 20 rd mags that aren't that cheap.

IMHO a roller delayed 10mm PCC is the ultimate personal defense weapon out to 100 yards and a pretty capable deer slayer in doomsday times. I haven't been able to talk myself into the need for one yet. 10mm is kind of pricey for just grins and giggles with 9mm being MUCH more economical.

P.S. My grins and giggles pistol shots 50 AE which definitely isn't cheap but reloading my own helps take a lot of the edge off.

Full power 10mm is a nice SMG/PCC caliber for meat targets, in a delayed system. No use to me for steel or paper, tho it certainly does sound cool. A .30 Carbine currently fills that meat target role for me, but 10mm would be my next choice.

I guess it is to me. I picked this 10mm Vector up from a very nice guy in the classifieds today. It is really just a range toy I think, but I like that it takes Glock 20 mags that I already had

A 10mm Stribog would be neat-o. However, would also be spendy to shoot for fun. So, I'll likely skip it.

Have 2 9mm Stribog's, and they are absolutely hilarious fun to shoot! 😁😁

From the practical standpoint? Not seeing much gained moving to 10mm pcc, given the ammunition weight & cost . At that weight & cost, better served moving to SBR / braced pistol in rifle cartridge. .300 black, .223/5.56, 7.62x39.

Folks are critical of the 10mm because of cost. But they don't criticize 5.56.

Ball ammo for either is very close to the same price.

I just ordered a case of Blazer Brass 10mm for $359.00 shipped. $0.36 is more than 9mm but but cheap enough that I don't worry about the cost. Look, any range trip is costing me at least $300 in gas and ammo anymore. You can't go shooting and worry about the cost of every shot or you will drive yourself crazy. it's not 2019 any more.

Yup.

Similar weight too, likely.

Better ballistics with the 5.56, even out of a short barrel.

My point being, not much I can see in benefits of a 10mm PCC compared with a rifle caliber SBR/braced pistol.

The benefit is I am making 1cm holes.
