Hello all. So last year I inherited a lot of guns from my wife's uncle who passed away. Most all of the guns were sold, save for a few that I wanted and will shoot.
Included with the guns were an M1 Garand and 1903 along with some .30-06 ammo a lot of which are AP rounds.
As I will most likely be selling both of these guns before I move to TX as I doubt I'll ever really shoot them much, I was wondering on a ball park value of the ammo to include with the sale of the rifles.
Pics are below and the majority are AP but there's some ball rounds and bronze tip as well. Any info is greatly appreciated as this is not my area of expertise, but then again nothing else really is either. Thank you!

IMO $1.50 a round for black tips right now. I sold 300 rounds last year for $350 shipped but things have change a lot in the last year.

Check the headstamps.....
See if the .30-06 that you have is corrosive or non-corrosive primed.

Aloha, Mark

PS.....some Garand clips are considered "collectible" to certain people. But, you might not want to deal with that. So....sell your clips with the ammo and you could potentially solve two problems. BUT......boxed ammo is more desirable vs un-boxed ammo.

Depends on where you sell them. You will get the most money out of them on Gunbroker or similar. If you are willing to deal with proper shipping, which isn't that difficult. People will typically pay more money for larger quantities because it amortizes their shipping cost out across the larger quantity.

CMP forums has ads for bulk AP ranging from $2-3 per round. M2 for $1.25 to $1.50. The AP bullets use to sell for almost a buck a piece.

The market is so messed up right now it is difficult to value. Next week when people get their 3rd round of government checks things will probably just inflate more. You're in a good position selling high valued rifles right now.
