Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
I live in Oregon and all the guns that I really like (that i find on armslist) Are up in Washington. So my question is, Could i just drive up to the persons house buy the gun. Do a bill of sale and drive home?

To buy a hand gun in another state, the ffl dealer that sold you the hand gun will have to ship to your chosen ffl dealer in your home state. I would advise you to get a copy of the ffl license from your dealer and take it with you. Give it to the ffl dealer selling to you. It will speed things up. The ffl in your home state will stamp "file copy" on the ffl license he gives you.
