I'm NOT a revolver guy, but, isn't spinning the cylinder fast like that (in the original product video) risking damage to the crane and cylinder pin?
Slamming the cylinder closed when doing that is not a good thing. Spinning it alone? Probably not an issue.

As orygun posted spinning alone is not so bad....spinning the cylinder and whipping it closed while spinning messes up a whole lot of stuff.

idiot story time. I had a new big bore double action revolver. One of the officers I worked with wanted to see it. I handed it to him unloaded and the cylinder open, before I could stop him he spun it and whipped it closed with one hand like he had seen in the movies. .Long story short he bought me another gun and I never let him handle a gun of mine ever again.

I watched and thought, "Is this cool, or just another gimmick?"

If it was reliable and the proper size for your cartridge and cylinder, it could be fairly usefull.
It's reliable and works fine. As you load the thing with cartridges, you need to make sure the cartridges are correctly inserted in the individual clips. It lays flat on your belt, and that's nice if a flat carry reload on your belt is important to you. So for a carry revolver, it is a slick little piece of gear.

I do weak hand reloads almost exclusively in the games, and the Wrapid Loader works just fine, but with all the little spring metal bits it is just not the kind of thing you want to drop in the gravel, or try to find after the stage, or maybe step on. Comp IIIs or SL Variants are better suited for games and easier to fill with fresh cartridges.
