I agree in the fact that it can't 100% be stopped. It can be cut down tremendously with proper measures and an alert, aware, and prepared population, regardless of the location. He mentions a few great ideas that would help but all require funding which shouldn't be hard to get.No matter what anyone wants to say, there's just NO way to STOP Shootings, in Schools, at Casinos or anyplace else. IF someone wants to do this kind of thing, it's not something that can be stopped. Suicide and MURDER are two things that Simply CAN'T be stopped! And, people are kidding themselves by saying otherwise.
It's very simple - THIS IS MURDER and there is NO way to stop it from happening.
And, just what Part of OZ do you live in, Dorothy???...but all require funding which shouldn't be hard to get.
Well, that's just what you are talking about.Or would you rather concede some 2A rights?
Well, that's just what you are talking about.
Bloomberg .soros .bill gates.and a few other billon dollar libs could buy metal detector for every school in the country but they never will .that would be admitting they have been wrong all this timeThe part where a kids life is worth the cost of security.
That is conceding all rights. Liberals can't figure that out.Or would you rather concede some 2A rights?
If good people are willing to step in between bad people and our children, then why the hell do we stop them from doing so, especially with the tools they need to not only survive the encounter but to have a real chance to stop the threat? I have no doubt there would be a long line of volunteers to do just this at schools around the country - but for the government who makes it illegal to even carry for personal protection on school grounds in many schools. The anti's claim to care about kids' lives - but refuse to take this option and put it into play - probably because they know damn well it will work and would obliterate their gun control claims.
Ask yourself this question - better yet, ask every person you meet that demands more gun control to 'save the kids' exactly how many mass shootings there have been in locations with metal detectors and armed guards - then sit there and wait for them to come up with an answer. How many can you think of? Any? We already know armed security and metal detectors are very effective (though not 100% effective) because lunatics typically don't attack places where they expect to encounter resistance. This idea would work, and I think it would bring school shootings down to a very, very rare occurrence. I'm pushing this idea on everyone that will listen - and if they say no, I'm putting it on them to explain why it won't. And I won't take "because I don't like how it looks" as an answer - if they really, truly want to protect kids, they would put good people, armed people, between the bad guys and them.
