I tried minimizing content several times but things keep adding to the pack. I've never used credit or debit unless I have no alternative so cash can add and subtract considerably, weekly, according to our needs. Many businesses, especially at the end of the day don't like adding up the till at closing so claim their out of the larger bills and save them to expedite that task when giving change and breaking larger bills and some time end up with a bunch of ones and fives and usually the most wrinkled and ratty ones to boot.. which add to the volume.
25 years ago I decided to change my attire from Levi's to cargo pants so my wallet now resides in my leg pocket with hook and loop fastener on the flap just below the regular pockets. If I have to dress spiffier for the evening or special events, I put in my breast pocket a money clip with my CC, ODL, credit card and a couple larger bills of cash.
Works for me, maybe not for thee.

I always wear tight jeans and that makes it impossible for not only the wallet to fall out but anyone from pulling it without my knowledge. When I had to wear dress pants for teaching the wallet would fall out just sitting down so it went in the front pocket. My new wallet won't be here for a couple more days and I have been rubber banding my stuff and putting it in my front pocket. I'm happy with it except for the rubber band...that is a pain but temporary.

I do believe I will still carry the same amount of stuff in the new wallet as the old except for three business cards and my hunting license. My old habits of having hard copies of things just won't die.

Tight Jeans...ah, um, you're a teenager...right?

If not, I would avoid 'tight jeans' as it's one of those things, like middle-aged guys buying a Corvette....you know, those people...

Fat wallet? 🤣

Tight at the waist only....can't stand loose pants around my waist.

edit to add......I drove truck today and did 7 hours behind the wheel without sitting on my wallet. I also used a little wedge on front of the seat to lift my knees up and support my thighs better. I still had a little nerve pain up high on that inner hamstring but not as bad as before. I know my issues won't fix themselves overnight but today was a good test to se if I'm headed in the right direction and I think I am.

I prefer fitted clothes…. Not tight but not loose/baggy.

Not a huge fan of fan of looking like a slob/soup sandwich/bag of a$$. My pockets also aren't jammed full of stuff either. Belt is a necessity even if not needed. I guess the military really did ingrain some habits in me….. who would have guessed. lol.

'Round here those of us staring down retirement refer to the affliction as "institutionalized". Definitely some habits that will be hard to break in the real world, and some that will last a lifetime.

I retired from a law enforcement agency in July and started driving truck again....my boss thinks I'm crazy with all the preparation I do before a trip. I have my routes planned, stops planned, missed exits plan to get back on track, and a hand written map to each new place...I spent 24 years dotting I's and crossing T's I cannot stop now.

Mine is uncomfortable fat.
Gun range card, AARP card, medicare advantage card, AAA card, prescription discount cards, bimart card, car insurance cards, defense attorney cards, driver's license, fishing license, the one credit card, $13 , and the condom that's been there since 1993.... My wallet's fat!

Primary. Secondary. Tertiary.

Ain't nothing wrong with the 7 P's.

I've been rocking a Kevlar Flow Fold for over a decade and it's still near perfect, barely starting to show ANY wear. I HIGHLY recommend!! I should probably mention I have 21 cards/ID's in it and still nice and slim.

My leather wallet is 1/2" thick, and 20+ years old. Wife keeps suggesting I need a new one. No way, this one is smooth as a baby's butt and conformed to my right cheek. Since I often pocket carry, the right front pocket is either empty or occupied by a kydex holster & Shield 9mm. Otherwise an IWB at 4pm. I'm old and slow, so muscle memory is a consideration for me.

My reading glasses fall out of the shirt pocket every time I bend over, so I rarely carry anything in a shirt unless it has button down pockets. Cell phone in left front pocket, two extra mags in left rear pocket. Dropped 23 pounds in the last six months, so using a rigger belt as I'm not ready to buy new jeans. Keys on a medium carabiner, attached to a belt loop.

One front pocket with wallet. Never back pocket so I won't be sitting on it and less temptation for pickpockets. Folded money in other front pocket with keys. That keeps the wallet thinner. Been that way so long it is noticeable if anything is missing. And I clean out the wallet periodically of receipts, business cards, etc.
