Any other geezers go this route?
Yes, I use a bi-fold wallet. This one is probably 15 years old. Mrs. Merkt sees it once in a while and asks me if a new one would be a good idea. I decline. I get used to old, tried and true.

There was a time that I used a tri-fold wallet for a while. It was okay, I forget why I went back to a bifold.

Been doing front pocket since 4th grade.
That became a habit of mine when I was in the army, carrying it around in a buttoned chest pocket of my fatigue shirt. I later went back to hip pocket. I take pocket contents out when I'm home.

When I'm travelling, I strip out a lot of local stuff that I figure I won't use on a trip.

I see people paying everything with their phones these days. I don't know why it works but I've seen videos of police letting people show their license on their phones. Maybe it depends where you are.

I stick with a small wallet with cards and cash. No pictures. Phones can break, damaged, or stolen. A lot can happen to a wallet but at least it's not digital.

Never fat enough...especially when at the black powder gun show...:D

Just got a new wallet for Christmas...a simple , basic, leather bi-fold.
Works well for me
Not enough cards , cash or any other items to make it fat.... :D

Nylon bifold w/velcro flap. I have to put a wrist band on it tho.

Rainbow classic, with clear plastic ID pocket on the outside. So for mundane things I don't have to take the DL out. Just show the clerk my DL thru the pocket.

Was harder to find last I replaced it, so bought several. Now I don't have to change THAT at least for decades…grumble. Darned new fangled "things". Grumble grumble.

However, I also wear cargo pocket pants. So it goes in a weak side cargo pocket.

It would likely pinch sciatic if I carried it in a rear pocket…
