Hornady TAP 75 gr. in .223

Can't find any of the TAP 5.56 but there are some .223 75 grainers; anyone opine on the .223 versions of this round?

In some quarters it seems to be a big fave for inside the 100 yard line- is it as good as they say?

If your barrel has a 1/7 twist, you'll be ok, anything less won't stabilize the bullet enough for accurate shooting.

Oh yeah,

We are good to go, 5.56 NATO 1/7 in a Colt 6920 here. I'm just wondering about terminal performance, stocking up on a few boxes of Hit The Fan rounds. The Zombies are coming!

Seems like the consensus elsewhere is that the black box FPD is not as hot as the red box 5.56 TAP by about 200fps at the muzzle but still lots better than the run-of-the mill ball rounds(?).
