Since they don't make Critical Duty in .45 ACP, I use Critical Defense as my daily carry/home defense ammo.

Critical Defense is great for mouseguns, they don't overexpand like some HPs so they penetrate. I carry it in my pocket 380.

Bought the only box I could find of +P at the gun show and tested it in my Kahr CM9 using wet phone books.

Some said since Hornday designed these for LEO using long barrels they wouldn't expand out of compact 3" barrels... they expanded fine.

I think I will be swapping over to these as my defense round of choice. I always liked the flextip concept, but I never cared for the lack of penetration from the critical defense line.
