Little old, but interesting watch. Not sure why it came across my suggestions, but it is a bit thought provoking. These are not meth heads. These are people that were supposedly getting by and then something happened. Health or divorce in most cases it seems. One of them is a Marine vet

Not sure what I wanted to comment on this. Crap happens I guess, be prepared. Maybe that my first instinct would be "why the hell you stay in California, one of the most expensive places to live", but I'm sure there are reasons...

There is a HUGE difference between people who have no family back up and end up in a tough spot, and those who choose the life style. The "safety net" was supposed to be for the 1st. Sadly voters have decided they want to make a hammock for the scum and make their way of life everyone's problem. You get what you ask for.
