Yes he's wrong. There's nothing about holsters that's regulated in anyway as far as i know. It's not a firearm nor firearm part.

You should be fine with holsters....however...
Some retail places won't ship damn near anything , to highly restrictive states.

If you like that holster....I'd shop around and find a vendor who will ship to Washington.

I ordered a DeSantis holster for my 1911 and they shipped via FedEx. I have also ordered an Alien Gear holster for my FNX-9 there was no issue on shipping. Alien Gear is made in Idaho at least that where my holster was shipped from.

I found that it depends on the seller, I think some of them are thinking its just avoiding what they think will be a hassle. Amazon wont ship a lot of gun related items like holsters in general but did end up finding one.
