1935 Pierre Laval, prime minister in 1935, decreed the registration of firearms for the first time in modern French history.
1940 Pierre Laval, deputy pm then, the government issued a decree demanding the surrender of all firearms and radio transmitters, on penalty of death. The French were also subject to the death penalty for failing to denounce someone who possessed guns.

"Come on man" history never repeats itself and that would never happen here.

Folks now days do not look at history and schools do not teach it any more just so they can repeat it.

It is much easier to control uneducated sheep that feel the government will save them than educated folks that know what the government is capable of.

We watched cities burn for the last two years while the government both local and federal stand back and promote it, and then call it a peaceful protest, we watch as folks protest the supreme court houses even though its against the law and then allow millions of illegal folks to cross the border that we have to support yet it is also against the law.

Now they want our guns for our safety, so they say, because we can trust them to help us. Why would I trust some one who bluntly breaks the law every day and has proven to me, I mean nothing to them.

But hay what do I know, just a little bit of history, and it has shown me gun bans never work out for the little folks.
