Judge William Domingo said what happened before and after the shooting needed to be taken into consideration and the danger that was present at that moment. He said he didn't think a reasonable person would wait to figure out where the shots were coming from.
Charges will be dismissed and it will be up to the prosecutor to decide whether to appeal.

It was a series PITA to go pick up the permit, go to the gun shop, then back to the police station so they can measure the gun.
