News today from Hawaii.

Judge William Domingo said what happened before and after the shooting needed to be taken into consideration and the danger that was present at that moment. He said he didn't think a reasonable person would wait to figure out where the shots were coming from.

Charges will be dismissed and it will be up to the prosecutor to decide whether to appeal.

Good for that judge. Those cops saved lives. The County Prosecutors office over there hand cuffs the police and let's the criminals off like crazy. Multiple felony conviction and the judge hands out "HOPE" Probation and wonders why these crumbs commit crimes again.

It's interesting, i haven't checked recently, but this doesn't show up in any other news.

It was a series PITA to go pick up the permit, go to the gun shop, then back to the police station so they can measure the gun.

I have no idea of what affiliation the Judge claims. BUT.....in HAWAII.......

You're either a part of the "Democratic Machine" or....you get run down/run over.

Perhaps....he's just slightly ahead of the curve? You know.....since the Dems now claim that they were never for defunding the police.
