One catch, you'll have to either go with a friend that has a handgun or take a class at SafeFire before you can rent.

They don't tell you, but it's an anti-suicide policy.

The wife did an extensive try-out at SafeFire recently and ended up with a G43.
She liked G19 as well.

If OP lives or works SW PDX, & Salem/Keizer is more convenient, Tritac Salem (Keizer line) rents.

Has a similar policy. There's used to be a video, IIRC.

Thanks! I am in SE Portland, so was looking at "The Place to Shoot" and taking a class as well. Trying to do the right way.
