Help restore Crosman 760

I have an older Crosman 760 Gold Bolt. I have researched online and even bought a new gasket kit off ebay with a parts breakdown picture. I still can not seem to get this back to the proper function. Are there any shops or gunsmith's (as that even a thing for pellet guns?) near the Portland area that specialize in fixing these? Any enthusiast on here that can help give me tips?

Must add; this piece has sentimental value as it was my grandpa's. The nostalgia is the fire behind getting this piece back where it needs to be.
