All of these type brakes that I or my friends have tried, except one, have been crap and blown off the barrel or wouldn't stay tight for love nor money. The one exception mentioned my buddy put it on made sure it was lined up and spot welded it before ever throwing rounds down range.

I've seen and shot a mosin with an AMD65 brake, worked pretty good. most anything else I've seen or used was junk.

The amd brake is threaded and there are a mess load of threaded brakes that have mixed results but do the job, I just use a limb saver slip on pad and pull it in tight.
