I am thankful for lots of things including cheap foods, cheap reloading supplies and the new dog that I didn't want but has grown on me.

We got an unwanted cat this year. Here he is sitting in my spot. We took our pigs to be slaughtered and he showed up right after. My wife missed the pigs and said that God sent her the cat, so what could I say? Happy Thanksgiving guys! I'm thankful to have you all on here to waste time with waiting
for the kids to show up!

Okay, was it only my sick mind, but here where the first things I saw in this thread. The words in red, and the photo below, and thought that just WRONG. Perhaps it will be my turn this year @Tlock

Before it happens, Happy Thanksgiving all!

What's with this "spatchcock" business with the turkeys?
What it looks like in the cookbooks versus what it looks like when my son does it:
(Oh well. It was quite tasty just the same. Happy Thanksgiving everybody!)

Presented in the other thread, from last year…

But a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving to my NWFA brethren. May Dad's blessings be upon you and your loved ones as we celebrate the bounty of the land.

Blessings to all!

He made the mistake of not taking the whole breast bone and rib cage out. The way you put it on the grill has alot to do with appearance when it comes off too

He cooked this in the oven. If not, I would have put it on the What's on the Grill Tonight thread. :s0092:

I mentioned your comments to him, and he said he'd never heard of doing it that way, but I could see the wheels turning in his head. He is one who is willing to learn, as long as it's not me telling him (particularly about cooking). :s0140:
