Looking for a handgun scope to go on a .22LR Browning Buckmark. Variable zoom must go down to at least 2x, fixed zoom is fine if it's no higher than 2x.

Vintage American-made would be the best, but not necessary. No NcStar, UTG, or similar chinesium.

Must either come with a mounting solution for Picatinny rail, or be able to use readily available mounts or rings. I just don't want to end up with an awesome scope that needs some weird ring size that I can't find anymore.

I want to use mainly cash, but could add a small amount of 5.56 green tip, M80 ball 7.52x51, or Fiocci subsonic .22LR.
