Hand Pump for Well

I remember hiking down the trail that led to the confluence of Eagle Creek and the Clackamas River and finding a fisherman up a tree clinging to the top because a black bear had chased him up it for the Salmon he was carrying back to his truck.
 
Here's an old timer well pump that's coming up in an estate sale in Sandy Oregon.
