I'm sorry this is happening in your state. I know of many people from this area who have gone to Texas (and esp. Austin). Most have no respect for the customs and heritage of the Texas, and have no intention of becoming Texans. I know one (1) guy who did blend in and fully assimilate to Texas, but most are holding on to the terrible ideas that ruined our cities up here.

When I lived in Arizona 20 years ago I witnessed a similar migration of people and an enormous cultural change in how the state was run. The locals were priced out and voted out.
